Job Description

The Role

Prepare detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for roads, highways, and utility networks (stormwater, sewer, water, electrical, telecom) o Interpret and convert engineering designs, survey data, and markups into technical drawings using MicroStation V8i/CONNECT Edition o Develop layouts, plans, profiles, cross-sections, and utility coordination drawings o Work closely with engineers, BIM coordinators, and design teams to ensure drawing accuracy and consistency o Revise drawings based on feedback, redlines, and updated design data o Maintain organized drawing files and documentation in line with project standards o Ensure compliance with applicable project specifications, CAD standards, and local authority guidelines o Participate in interdisciplinary coordination meetings when required

Requirements

Diploma or certification in Civil Engineering Drafting or related field o 3+ years of experience as a Draftsman using MicroStation on infrastructure projects o Strong understanding of utility design (wet and dry services), road alignments, and highway structures o Proficiency in MicroStation V8i and/or CONNECT Edition is essential o Familiarity with local/municipal standards for roads and utilities (e.g., DOT, DM, RTA standards) o Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
