We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman with 4-6 years of UAE-specific experience in Oil and Gas projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings, layouts, and designs for engineering and construction projects while ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and detailed technical drawings, designs, and layouts for Oil and Gas projects using CAD software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, or similar).
Interpret and review engineering specifications, sketches, and other design documents to produce high-quality drawings.
Develop piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), isometric drawings, and general arrangement (GA) drawings as required.
Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, relevant codes, and UAE regulatory standards.
Update and maintain as-built drawings and documentation as per project changes.
Collaborate with engineers, project teams, and clients to understand design requirements and resolve any discrepancies.
Conduct site visits when necessary to gather data or verify existing conditions.
Manage and organize drawing files and ensure proper documentation control.
Stay updated with advancements in drafting tools, techniques, and UAE-specific Oil and Gas industry requirements.
Required Qualifications and Certifications:
Diploma or degree in Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
4-6 years of UAE-specific experience as a Draftsman, with a focus on Oil and Gas projects.
Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, or equivalent.
Certification in drafting or CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Professional Certification) is an advantage.
Knowledge of relevant standards and codes, such as ASME, API, and ISO, as applicable to Oil and Gas projects.
