Within the Merchandising Department, your main mission is to have a client centric mind set and to drive the business in collaboration with the Zone Merchandisers and related Central and Zone teams to achieve the set objectives in terms of turnover, sell through and profits for \xe2\x80\x9cyour\xe2\x80\x9d category or lines.
1/ Drive Business, Bet, Buy, Assort: Strategy and operations on \xe2\x80\x9cyour\xe2\x80\x9d category or lines:
Participation in annual sales budget and OTS planning
Define and share business targets to be achieved by novelty and existing each season to reach the yearly budget.
Define key bets each season from the novelties
Edit the collection (new and existing) in preparation of showroom in collaboration with the product team to reach business target
Define assortment strategy each season for the category/lines always with client centric mind set
Responsible of maintaining an efficient collection and assortment, taking into consideration the global strategy on the category
Responsible of the buys on all new products from preparation of showroom up to the launch.
Once products are launched, follow closely with the zones and sales planning teams on performance to maximize sales, sell through and optimization of forecast.
Maintain a comprehensive and updated knowledge (internet, medias) of the clients, LV stores and competition by regular visits to stores and weekly communication with the zones
Brief each season the product team on market trend, needs on \xe2\x80\x9cyour\xe2\x80\x9d category / lines, and contribute in effective collection building
2/ Transversal management and collaboration :
Lead a zone with a global vision on the business as representative for central merch team.
Daily exchange with product team on product strategy, plan and business update
Strong collaboration with supply chain teams to follow up on performance vs forecast, rebalancing, and maximization of ST.
Brief and work with central VM team to ensure strong visibility of your lines in line with business and image priorities.
Coordinate as representative in Merch team with client development team: define opportunities/ priorities for clienteling action around products
