Role Overview
The Merchandiser Buyer will assist in managing allocation processes, analyzing weekly sales performance, and supporting product selection for catalogues. This role ensures accurate inventory planning, enhances product availability across stores, and plays a key part in the brand's strategic buying and merchandising efforts.
Key Responsibilities

• Oversee allocation process, including accurate BTF settings, ratio balancing, and training allocators
• Implement AI allocation solutions and liaise with stores for regional product needs
• Generate trade reports, promotion tracking, and weekly performance analysis
• Identify best/worst sellers and provide recommendations for future buying decisions
• Support catalogue buying by managing core buying sheets and preparing DRB planograms
• Maintain and input data into IBT systems and ensure digital accuracy of buying quantities
• Collaborate with stores, merchandising leads, and brand principals for seamless execution
• Provide coaching and contribute to team development and succession planning
• Ensure smooth coordination between in-store and online product journeys

Requirements
Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree required (Master's preferred)
• 3-4 years of experience in fashion buying or merchandising at allocator or assistant merchandiser level
• Experience with UK/European brands and retail operations in MENA is a plus

Skills:

• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Detail-oriented with advanced Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency
• Knowledge of SAP is an added advantage
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
• Passion for fashion, strong market awareness, and understanding of customer trends
• Confident, optimistic, and able to handle complexity
