Department: Merchandising and Sales support



Reports to: Sales Manager



Place of work - Ajman



Job Summary:



The Garment Merchandiser cum Sales Support is responsible for coordinating the entire merchandising process, ensuring timely order execution, maintaining communication with buyers and suppliers, and providing administrative and operational support to the sales team to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Merchandising:



Develop and manage sample development, production follow-ups, and order processing. Coordinate with suppliers, factories, and internal teams to ensure quality and timely delivery. Monitor production status, conduct inspections, and resolve issues during the production cycle. Develop new designs or modify existing ones based on buyer inputs and market trends. Prepare tech packs, basic CADs, or sketches to communicate design details clearly. Source fabrics, trims, and accessories aligned with design concepts and cost targets. Monitor and ensure garment quality, fit, and finishing standards are met. Prepare costing sheets, negotiate prices, and maintain profitability.

Sales Support:



Assist the sales team in preparing quotations, sales orders, and customer documentation. Communicate with buyers for order confirmation, approvals, and updates. Maintain and update buyer databases, order trackers, and status reports. Follow up on payments and coordinate shipment schedules.

Customer Relationship Management:



Maintain good relationships with existing buyers and suppliers. Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve complaints efficiently.

Coordination & Reporting:



Coordinate with logistics for shipments and documentation. Provide regular reports on order status, delivery schedules, and sales figures. Ensure accurate record-keeping of all merchandising and sales activities.

Requirements:



Bachelor's degree in Textile/Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, or related field. 2+ years of experience in garment merchandising and sales support (or entry-level if you are open). Knowledge of garment production processes, fabrics, trims, and quality standards. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); ERP knowledge is an advantage. Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines. Team player with a proactive and problem-solving attitude.

Working Conditions:



Office-based with occasional visits to factories/suppliers. Some travel may be required depending on client/supplier locations.

Pay: From AED3,000.00 per month
