MTec Electromechanical Works (MTEC) is looking for a skilled
Electrical MEP Technician
to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical systems installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, specifically within the MEP industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment as part of MEP projects.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in MEP systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
Ensure that all electrical installations comply with local building codes, company standards, and safety regulations.
Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure the efficient execution of electrical aspects of MEP projects.
Perform testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
Provide regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment.
Document and maintain records of electrical work performed, including reports and service logs.
Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies during all work activities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience as an Electrical MEP Technician in the UAE.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, transformers, and switchgear.
Familiarity with UAE building codes and electrical safety regulations.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
