Edges Integrated Technical Services is urgently seeking a

skilled and dependable MEP Technician

who holds a

valid UAE manual driving license

. This is a dual-role position that combines hands-on technical maintenance work with driving responsibilities across various residential and commercial project sites.

Role Overview

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in HVAC systems, with working knowledge of plumbing and basic electrical systems. The position also involves operating a company vehicle for transporting materials, tools, and staff as part of daily operational support.

Key ResponsibilitiesMEP Technician Duties

HVAC Systems

Install, maintain, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems. Perform fault diagnosis and routine maintenance of HVAC units. Conduct cleaning, calibration, and warranty servicing. Maintain accurate service logs and repair records. Adhere to all relevant safety and equipment standards.

Plumbing

Interpret technical drawings and blueprints for sanitary installations. Install and repair pipes, valves, water heaters, sinks, and related fixtures. Conduct system testing to identify leaks or faults. Ensure plumbing work meets all applicable codes and standards.

Basic Electrical Support

Assist in troubleshooting electrical systems related to HVAC and plumbing. Ensure all tasks are performed following safety protocols.

Driving Responsibilities

Drive company vehicles to transport tools, staff, and materials to project sites. Maintain cleanliness and good condition of the vehicle. Comply with all traffic laws and internal driving policies. Log vehicle use and report any mechanical issues promptly. Support site operations by assisting with loading/unloading and general site tasks.

Candidate Requirements

High School Certificate or Technical Diploma/ITI (preferred). Minimum 2 years of relevant MEP or HVAC technical experience.

Valid UAE Manual Driving License (mandatory)

. Familiarity with Dubai and surrounding emirates' road routes. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing installations, and electrical basics. Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematic diagrams. Basic communication skills in English (Hindi/Arabic an advantage). Physically fit and comfortable working in confined spaces or at heights. Flexible with work hours, including weekends and on-call shifts.
