Mep Technical Manager
Job Description
Manage MEP design process: review drawings, calculations, specifications; coordinate consultants and contractors.
Ensure system design aligns with architecture/structure and project objectives; manage clashes and integration.
Ensure compliance with UAE building codes, ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC, etc., and local authority approvals.
Oversee installation, testing, commissioning of MEP systems; respond to technical issues during construction.
Provide leadership to MEP team, manage consultants/contracts, and ensure technical excellence.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred).
12-15+ years' experience in MEP in UAE/GCC, with minimum 3-5 years in a management role.
Strong expertise in HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, fire protection, etc.
Proficiency in Revit MEP, Navisworks, clash detection workflows.
Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
