Job Description

The MEP Team Leader is responsible for

supervising, coordinating, and executing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) maintenance, installation, and repair activities

across the facility or multiple sites. This role ensures all MEP systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. The MEP Team Leader provides technical guidance to the team, manages projects, and ensures timely resolution of system issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, supervise, and manage a team of MEP technicians, ensuring adherence to schedules, quality standards, and safety procedures. Plan, assign, and monitor

preventive and corrective maintenance

tasks for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Conduct inspections, troubleshoot system issues, and coordinate repairs of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, and BMS systems. Oversee installation, commissioning, and startup of new MEP equipment or systems. Ensure MEP systems are optimized for performance and energy efficiency. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, service reports, and spare parts usage. Monitor team performance, provide training, and support skill development of technicians. Coordinate with facility managers, contractors, and vendors for smooth project execution and service delivery. Ensure compliance with

health, safety, and environmental regulations

, and implement safe working practices. Prepare reports on team activities, system performance, and maintenance costs for management review. Support budget planning and cost control for MEP operations and projects. Respond to

emergency MEP issues

promptly, providing technical direction and hands-on support when required. Perform site visits to inspect work progress, verify quality, and address operational issues. Recommend improvements, upgrades, or replacement of MEP equipment to optimize performance.
