Job Description

We are a well-established group in the UAE, currently expanding our internal technical team. We are looking to hire a skilled MEP Quantity Surveyor & Estimator with in-depth knowledge of UAE market pricing, authority standards, and a strong command of material take-off and cost estimation procedures.

This role is ideal for professionals who can work independently, prepare BOQs from scratch, and support the commercial and procurement teams in securing accurate and competitive budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform material take-offs directly from architectural and MEP drawings Prepare structured BOQs across: Electrical systems HVAC (including chilled water systems & ETS rooms) Plumbing and drainage Fire Fighting & Fire Alarm LPG systems Research and apply accurate market-based material pricing (with brands) Calculate labor costs based on local market rates (per point/meter/unit) Provide trade-wise cost breakdowns and total budget summaries Support procurement team with technical evaluation of contractor pricing Recommend cost-effective alternatives and support value engineering

Requirements:

Minimum 5-10 years of experience in MEP estimation or quantity surveying (UAE) Experience in mid- to high-rise residential or commercial buildings Familiarity with DEWA, Civil Defence, Etisalat, and other authority standards Strong Excel skills and familiarity with BOQ templates and formatting Able to work independently and manage multiple scopes simultaneously Strong communication and commercial awareness

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Experience with chilled water networks, ETS rooms, and fire/LPG systems Strong understanding of pre-contract estimation processes and market sourcing

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month
