Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Review and understand all project specifications, drawings, and QA/QC documentation requirements. Prepare and implement the project-specific QA/QC Plan for MEP works. Inspect incoming MEP materials and equipment for compliance with approved submittals. Coordinate and perform site inspections for MEP installations including HVAC, Firefighting, Plumbing, Drainage, and Electrical systems. Ensure all MEP installations are in accordance with project standards, local authority regulations, and client requirements. Issue and monitor NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), CARs (Corrective Action Reports), and follow up on their closure. Liaise with consultants and client representatives for inspections and approvals. Prepare and maintain complete QA/QC documentation, including ITPs (Inspection Test Plans), checklists, and as-built records. Monitor subcontractors' quality performance and ensure compliance with QA/QC requirements. Participate in internal and external quality audits. Conduct toolbox talks, quality awareness sessions, and trainings for site engineers and technicians. Ensure timely submission of inspection requests (IRs) and material submittals. Verify MEP testing and commissioning activities and ensure records are properly documented and approved.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Minimum 5-8 years of experience in MEP QA/QC in construction projects. Strong knowledge of international codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, NEC, IPC, etc.) and local standards (UAE, KSA, etc.). Experience in high-rise buildings, infrastructure, or district cooling is a plus. Excellent report writing, communication, and coordination skills. Familiar with QA/QC tools, checklists, and documentation systems. Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and QA/QC software (e.g., Aconex, BIM 360).
