to manage and oversee the execution of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works in building and infrastructure projects. The candidate will coordinate project activities, ensure compliance with design specifications and standards, and support timely and quality project delivery.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management
Supervise and coordinate MEP activities on site from mobilization to handover.
Plan, schedule, and monitor project progress to ensure timely completion.
Liaise with consultants, contractors, and clients for project approvals and coordination.
Prepare and submit project reports, schedules, and updates to management.
Technical Oversight
Review MEP design drawings and specifications for feasibility and compliance.
Support site engineers and subcontractors in technical problem-solving.
Conduct site inspections to ensure proper installation and quality of MEP works.
Monitor compliance with UAE codes, local authority regulations (DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, Civil Defense), and safety standards.
Coordination & Documentation
Coordinate between design engineers, site engineers, and other disciplines.
Ensure proper documentation of RFIs, MIRs, inspection requests, and site instructions.
Review material submittals, shop drawings, and testing & commissioning procedures.
Facilitate smooth handover by preparing as-built drawings and O&M manuals.
Quality & Safety
Ensure adherence to QA/QC procedures and project quality standards.
Monitor compliance with HSE guidelines and promote a safe working environment.
Identify and address any technical or operational issues promptly.
Qualifications & SkillsEducation & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum
4-6 years of experience
in MEP project management in the UAE.
Strong understanding of MEP systems, construction practices, and local regulations.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, MS Project, and other project management software.
Strong knowledge of MEP design, installation, and commissioning.
Familiarity with UAE authority approvals and submission procedures.
Soft Skills
Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
