Title: MEP Pre-Sales Engineer

Location: Dubai, UAE

Position Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled, Revit Experienced MEP Engineer to join our dynamic team based in Dubai, UAE as an MEP Pre-Sales Engineer.

This key role is a hybrid of Technical Pre-Sales and Customer Success. In this job, your primary objective is to support the Sales team with acquiring new ProDesign and Stabicad MEP customers.

ProDesign is a powerful 2D Electrical design and calculation package, used by Engineers and Contractors in compliance with local ADDC and DEWA regulations.

Stabicad for Revit software makes MEP Engineers more productive with their Revit projects through the provision of MEP Content, Design / Productivity Tools and integrated Calculations.

Whilst the role has a primary focus on ProDesign and Stabicad MEP, the success candidate will also be required to present the capabilities of Trimble Estimating and other products in the MEP portfolio as required, with training provided.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Director you will work closely with the Sales, Product Management, Product Marketing and Marketing Communications teams

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct technical product demonstrations to prospective customers

Create and deliver regular webinars

Support a non technical sales team in technical qualification conversations

Develop the sales team's product and industry knowledge so the can take opportunities further, before requesting technical pre-sales support

Host meetings and workshops, discussing questions, issues and recommendations in groups

Understanding the competitive landscape and give recommendations on how our product can differentiate and win as we incrementally release

Provision of training, consultancy and proactive support to ensure customer success

Assist Product Marketing to segment the market, identify target customer groups and define the messaging and positioning to successfully generate interest in the product

Work with Product Management to inform and prioritise our roadmap in response to customer's requests, and outcompete alternative solutions

Support Marketing efforts by providing content and messaging for demo videos, feature insights, magazine/website articles etc.

Required Skill & Experience:

A background in MEP with experience gained working in the UAE as an Electrical Design Engineer for an Engineering Consultancy or a Contracting company.

Experience using Autodesk Revit MEP

Qualified to HNC, HND or higher level in Electrical Engineering

Possess strong presentation skills

Have strong technical software skills

A strong communicator and collaborator

Highly ambitious, inquisitive, hungry to learn and self-motivated

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of Mechanical Design services

Software experience:

ProDesign

AutoCAD

Fab MEP

Stabicad and/or Magicad software applications (other similar programmes would be beneficial too)

Experience in managing, mentoring and leading others
