The MEP Technician cum Diver is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems within a facility. This role requires technical expertise, hands-on skills, and problem-solving abilities to ensure all MEP systems operate efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Perform regular checks on HVAC systems, electrical panels, plumbing fixtures, and other MEP components.
Diagnose and troubleshoot MEP system issues, identify faulty components, and implement effective repair solutions.
Carry out repairs and replacements of defective equipment or systems.
Monitor and maintain HVAC systems, including calibration and adjustments to optimize performance and energy efficiency.
Inspect, repair, and maintain electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, panels, switches, outlets, and circuit breakers.
Inspect, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, fixtures, and piping; identify and resolve leaks, clogs, and other plumbing issues.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes in all maintenance and repair activities.
Follow and implement safety procedures during all technical operations.
Calibrate and adjust MEP equipment to meet performance specifications and maintain accurate records of these activities.
Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment specifications.
Update manuals and operating procedures for MEP systems as needed.
Coordinate with maintenance staff, contractors, and facility managers to address complex issues and project requirements.
Communicate effectively with team members and provide technical support whenever necessary.
