Job Summary:

The Driver/Forklift Operator/Maintenance Technician is a multi-skilled position responsible for transporting goods and personnel, operating warehouse equipment, and performing general maintenance tasks to support daily operations. The ideal candidate must be adaptable, safety-conscious, and capable of managing diverse responsibilities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:1. Driving Duties:

Safely transport materials, goods, and staff to designated locations in a timely manner. Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance of vehicles (e.g., oil, brakes, lights). Comply with all traffic laws and company transport policies. Maintain the cleanliness and proper condition of company vehicles. Accurately record trip details, mileage, fuel usage, and report any incidents.

2. Forklift Operation:

Operate forklifts and related warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Load, unload, move, and stack materials within the warehouse or loading docks. Perform routine safety checks on forklift equipment. Ensure goods are properly stored and warehouse safety standards are maintained. Immediately report any mechanical issues or damages to the supervisor.

3. General Maintenance:

Conduct routine inspections of equipment, fixtures, and facility infrastructure. Perform minor electrical, plumbing, and mechanical repairs as required. Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of facility systems. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs. Maintain tools and supplies in proper working order and storage.

Qualifications & Skills:

Valid UAE Driver's License with a clean driving record. Valid UAE Forklift or Heavy Tractor License. Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems (preferred). Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy items. Strong attention to safety procedures and detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Flexible and willing to take on varied responsibilities as needed.
