About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced

Lead MEP Mechanical Engineer

to join a reputable engineering consultancy firm. The ideal candidate will have

17-20 years of proven experience

in

mechanical design and supervision

within the consultancy sector. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of project execution in line with international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the

mechanical design

process for HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems. Oversee

project supervision

to ensure compliance with design specifications and regulatory standards. Review and approve technical drawings, BOQs, and specifications. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including electrical, civil, and architectural departments. Conduct site inspections and quality control reviews during the construction phase. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design teams. Liaise with clients, contractors, and authorities to ensure project milestones and quality standards are met. Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's is a plus). 17-20 years of experience in

consultancy-based mechanical design and supervision

. Strong knowledge of international codes and mechanical systems. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and HVAC simulation tools. Excellent leadership, communication, and client-handling skills. PMP or similar project management certification is an advantage.
