We are currently seeking for passionate and dynamic MEP-Estimator & Procurement Engineer- to strengthen our growing team. Applicants must meet the following qualifications to be shortlisted:
Available in UAE and can join immediately.
Minimum 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Electrical Engineer / Mechanical Engineer
Preferred,Equivalence certificate- ADQCC Certificate for Electrical Engineer
Knowledgeable in both Mechanical & Electrical System
RESPONSIBILITIES BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
Manages the daily activities of our estimation department.
Determines necessary resources for projects within budgetary constraints and calculates estimated costs.
Develop tender cost summaries including equipment, materials, and labour calculations for final approval.
Assist the procurement manager & Project managers on negotiations with the suppliers in order to reach the approved budget by the management.
Implements technical estimating standards and procedures and oversees the work of project estimators.
Log proposals and tenders into our company database for cost tracking and historical information.
Responsible for timely and accurate submission of bids, post-tender amendments as and when required.
Prepares value engineering proposals as and when directed by the management or called for in the tender documents.
Attends pre tender and post tender meetings with the main contractor and client\xe2\x80\x99s representatives.
Preparing of detailed budgets for projects based on accepted bid prices.
Review, provide feedback and evaluate performance of estimators.
Post tender & Pre tender Q.S work.
Prepare and Send Inquiry to supplier & subcontractors by splitted package.
Prepare and build up BOQ from design drawings.
Estimate and confirm tender BOQ quantities.
Assist Senior Manager in estimation and preparation of cost sheet.
Prepare tender requirements, including technical and commercial proposal.
Assist Manager in preparation of all Technical Submittals and Correspondences.
Prepare comparison sheet for sub-contractors & suppliers assuring their compliance with the project requirements.
Prepare & analyze Variation claims (Cost & Time).
Review and evaluate IFC drawings, revised drawings and shop drawings for any possible variations to the Client.
Review of payment applications / invoices for Subcontractors, Suppliers in accordance with the Subcontract Agreement and provide feedback to Superior for any inadequacy or non-compliance with the Subcontract Agreement or otherwise with Company Standard Procedures.
Prepare Monthly Progress Payment Application to be submitted to the Client.
Finalize all procurement works starting from MR to PO
