Job Description
We are seeking an experienced
MEP Estimator
with a strongmechanical background
to join our fit-out company in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, reviewing project drawings and specifications, and coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and quality.Key Responsibilities:
Prepare
detailed cost estimates
for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) works related to interior fit-out projects. Reviewtender documents, BOQs, and drawings
to identify project scope and requirements. Obtain and analyzequotations from suppliers and subcontractors
. Preparecost breakdowns and tender submissions
. Coordinate closely with design, procurement, and project teams to ensure technical and commercial accuracy. Supportvalue engineering initiatives
to optimize project costs. Maintain an updated database ofsuppliers, materials, and pricing
.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
(mandatory). Minimum2 years of experience
as an MEP Estimator in afit-out or contracting company
. Strong knowledge ofHVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, and electrical systems
. Proficiency inAutoCAD, MS Office, and estimation software
. Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.Please Note:
Only candidates with a
Mechanical Engineering background
will be considered.Civil Engineering backgrounds will not be entertained.
