Job Overview:

We are seeking a technically proficient and experienced MEP Estimator with solid expertise in both mechanical and electrical systems for major building construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, supporting tender submissions, and contributing to overall pricing strategies. Proficiency in CCS software is essential, along with strong knowledge of GCC construction industry practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and interpret tender documents including drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract conditions for all MEP disciplines. Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and accurate cost estimates for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Develop cost-competitive bid proposals aligned with project scope, timelines, and financial goals. Utilize CCS software for estimation, BOQ management, and tender documentation. Analyze vendor and subcontractor quotations for accuracy, compliance, and commercial viability. Coordinate with engineering, planning, and procurement teams to validate inputs and support cost planning. Prepare and submit comprehensive technical and commercial bid packages. Participate in tender clarifications, pricing reviews, and pre/post-bid discussions. Support value engineering initiatives and identify opportunities for cost savings. Maintain a structured and updated cost database for materials, labour, and subcontractor pricing.

Candidate Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution. 5 years of GCC experience in MEP estimation for building construction projects (residential, commercial, institutional). Strong understanding of estimation methodologies, tendering processes, and cost control principles. Proficiency in CCS software is mandatory. Good knowledge of local regulations, international standards, and construction practices. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple bids, and work independently under pressure.

Preferred:

Experience working on high-rise buildings, hospitals, or large commercial developments in the GCC.
Familiarity with local supplier markets, subcontractor networks, and material pricing trends.
