Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Estimation Engineer (Electrical) with a minimum of 3 years' experience in electrical estimation within the UAE market. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing tender documents, and supporting the bidding process for MEP projects. The role requires strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, excellent analytical skills, and familiarity with UAE standards and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs to prepare detailed electrical estimates.

Prepare cost breakdowns for materials, equipment, subcontractors, and labor.

Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.

Perform value engineering and cost analysis to ensure competitive pricing.

Assist in preparing technical and commercial proposals for submission.

Coordinate with the design and project teams to validate estimates.

Maintain an updated database of prices, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, standards, and authority requirements.

Participate in post-tender clarifications and negotiations as required.

Provide support to management in bid/no-bid decisions and risk assessments.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Minimum 3 years' experience in electrical estimation within MEP contracting in the UAE.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems (power distribution, lighting, ELV, fire alarm, etc.).

Familiarity with UAE authority requirements (DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, FEWA, Civil Defense).

Proficiency in estimation software, AutoCAD, and MS Office (especially Excel).

Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred:

Experience in MEP contracting companies in the UAE.

Knowledge of mechanical estimation will be an added advantage.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
