Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or MEP Engineering.
Minimum
3-7 years
experience in MEP estimation (Qatar experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of MEP systems and Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS).
Proficient in
AutoCAD, Excel, and estimation software
.
Strong analytical and calculation skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
UPDA
Review tender documents, drawings, BOQ, and specifications.
Prepare quantity take-offs for Mechanical works.
Estimate material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
Request and evaluate supplier & subcontractor quotations.
Prepare cost breakdown sheets and comparison summaries.
Prepare technical and commercial proposals for tender submission.
Conduct value engineering to reduce cost without affecting quality.
Attend pre-tender meetings and site visits when required.
Coordinate with procurement and project teams for updated prices.
Prepare variation, remeasurement, and cost analysis reports.
Maintain updated price database for materials and labor.
