Key Responsibilities

Review IFC/shop drawings, calcs, specs; ensure code compliance (ASHRAE/NFPA/SMACNA/BS/EN/local). Lead MEP coordination/clash resolution; maintain service zones and builders' work. Oversee site works: installations, inspections (MIR/WIR), QA/QC, NCRs, ITPs/method statements. Manage submittals, RFIs, vendor evaluations; track materials and programme. Handle authority interfaces and approvals (e.g., DEWA/ADDC, DCD, telecom, municipalities). Plan/witness T&C: TAB, electrical tests, hydro tests, FA/BMS integration; compile O&M/as-builts.

Qualifications

BSc in Mechanical or Electrical (Building Services preferred). Experience: 8-12+ yrs (site & coordination). Software: AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks; HAP/DIALux; MS Project/Primavera basics. Added value: ETAP/BMS exposure; UAE SoE registration; DCD cert; valid UAE DL; PE/CEng/LEED/PMP (plus).

Core Skills

Strong coordination/constructability judgment. Solid calculations (loads, pump head, voltage drop). QA/QC rigor, safety mindset (LOTO/hot work/confined space). Clear reporting and stakeholder management.

Deliverables & KPIs

Approved submittals/drawings; inspection & test records; T&C plans; as-builts/O&M. KPIs: RFI & NCR closure, first-time inspection pass, T&C milestones, authority approvals.
