Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented

MEP Estimation Engineer

with

mandatory proven experience in at least one of the following disciplines: Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing

, specifically within the UAE market. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for MEP projects, ensuring compliance with UAE codes, standards, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for MEP works (Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing) on construction and infrastructure projects in the UAE. Analyze project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to develop comprehensive estimates. Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams to gather necessary data for estimation. Ensure estimates comply with UAE regulations, standards, and local authority requirements. Identify risks, contingencies, and resource requirements in estimates. Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to obtain quotations and price inputs. Prepare bill of quantities (BOQ) and scope of work documentation. Assist in tender submissions, value engineering, and bid clarifications. Maintain a database of historical costs and supplier rates for UAE MEP projects. Support the estimation manager in preparing technical and commercial proposals.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in MEP estimation with proven expertise in at least one of the three backgrounds: Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing - mandatory for UAE projects.

Good understanding of UAE construction codes, local authority regulations, and MEP standards. Proficient in estimation software and MS Office applications. Strong analytical, numerical, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Familiarity with UAE market rates and suppliers preferred.
