We are in search of a proactive and experienced MEP ENGINEERS to join our headquarters team in Umm Al Quwain, UAE.

Position: MEP ENGINEER (Fire Alam and Fire Figthing)

:

We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm & Fire Fighting Systems Engineer with a solid background in fire safety design, installation, and compliance in UAE construction projects. The candidate must have relevant UAE experience and knowledge of local construction codes.

Previous experience in the construction industry will be an advantage to you.

Responsibilities:

Develop fire protection system designs in collaboration with architects and designers, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.

Conduct calculations, simulations, and analysis to optimize the placement and sizing of fire suppression systems.

Review and evaluate fire protection system submittals and shop drawings for compliance with project and with civil defense regulations and approvals.

Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and civil defense authorities for inspections and certifications.

Ensure all systems meet regulatory standards, fire codes, and local authority requirements.

Create project plans, budgets, and timelines for fire protection system installations.

Monitor on-site installations to ensure quality and safety compliance.

Conduct testing and commissioning of fire protection systems.

Provide technical troubleshooting and solutions for installation or operational issues.

Liaise with consultants and authorities for inspections and certifications.

Maintain accurate documentation and provide regular progress reports.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 3 years of UAE experience in fire safety systems.

Knowledge of UAE Civil Defense codes.

Proficient in CAD, NFPA standards, and related software.

Strong knowledge of fire and mechanical systems, codes, and tools like AutoCAD or Revit.

Team-oriented with effective collaboration skills.

Ability to work well under pressure and meet project deadlines.
