Job Description

Job Summary:

The MEP Engineer is responsible for conducting site inspections, assessing project timelines, estimating costs, and coordinating manpower and materials to ensure accurate quotations and efficient execution of maintenance and technical projects. The role requires

practical knowledge of MEP and HVAC systems, strong site coordination skills, and close collaboration with both the Operations and Sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct detailed site inspections to assess project scope, work requirements, and technical feasibility. Evaluate

project timelines, manpower allocation, and material requirements

to support cost estimation and quotation preparation. Prepare

cost estimates and BOQs

, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness. Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for material sourcing, quotations, and price verification. Work closely with the Operations Team to schedule and monitor project progress. Collaborate with the Sales Executive for prospective projects, conducting joint site visits to define the scope of work and technical requirements. Prepare and submit

technical assessments and inspection reports

with recommendations. Ensure all

project works comply with MEP, HVAC, and safety standards applicable in the UAE.

Provide technical guidance during project execution and assist with troubleshooting when required. Maintain

effective communication with clients, team members

, and management to ensure smooth coordination and timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum 2 years of experience in building maintenance, MEP, or HVAC projects within the UAE.

Possesses basic to medium technical knowledge in MEP systems, including: Understanding of Mechanical systems such as HVAC units, ducting layouts, and ventilation design. Familiarity with Electrical systems, including lighting, wiring layouts, power distribution, and control panels. Awareness of Plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and pump configurations. Ability to identify, inspect, and troubleshoot common issues across MEP trades. Competence in interpreting technical drawings, preparing BOQs, and coordinating with technicians and subcontractors. Understanding of coordination between trades (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) during site execution. Proficient in cost estimation, supplier communication, and project scheduling. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and report-writing skills. Good command of the English language. Valid UAE driving license is an advantage
