Civil / MEP Sales Engineer Cum Estimator (Renovation Works Experience)
Job Title: Civil / MEP Sales Engineer & Estimator
Department: Business Development / Pre-Construction
Reporting To: Senior Sales Manager / Head of Estimation
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Sales Engineer & Estimator to drive our business growth in the renovation sector. This dual-role position is responsible for generating new leads, building client relationships, and preparing accurate, competitive cost estimates for civil and MEP renovation projects (villas, apartments, commercial spaces). The ideal candidate is a persuasive communicator with a strong engineering background and a meticulous eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:

• Sales & Business Development:
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the villa and apartment renovation market.
• Conduct site visits to meet potential clients, understand their renovation needs, and present company capabilities.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of leads and clients through networking, referrals, and cold calling.
• Prepare and deliver compelling technical and commercial presentations to clients.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets.
• Estimation & Costing:
• Review architectural, civil, and MEP drawings and specifications for renovation projects.
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs (QTO) for all civil and MEP works.
• Solicit and analyze quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare comprehensive and accurate cost estimates, including material, labor, equipment, and overhead costs.
• Develop and submit competitive and profitable tender proposals.
• Participate in post-tender negotiations and clarifications.
• Coordination:
• Liaise with the design, planning, and execution teams to ensure project feasibility and smooth handover after award.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market rates for materials and labor.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Must possess a valid UAE Driver's License.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in sales and estimation, specifically within villa and apartment renovation in the UAE.
• Strong technical knowledge of civil and MEP systems, construction methodologies, and materials.
• Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., CCS Candy, MS Project, Planswift) and MS Office Suite (Advanced Excel).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is a significant advantage.
