We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

MEP Procurement Coordinator

to manage the sourcing and purchasing of materials related to Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of MEP systems and components, excellent negotiation skills, and experience in procurement or material coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage the procurement of MEP materials as per project requirements and specifications. Prepare and review material requests, purchase orders, and supplier quotations. Liaise with MEP engineers, site teams, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials. Evaluate vendor capabilities and negotiate contracts to ensure best pricing and quality. Maintain an updated database of preferred suppliers and track material delivery schedules. Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards in procurement processes. Assist in reviewing MEP drawings and BOQs to determine material needs. Resolve any issues related to delayed or incorrect deliveries.

Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in MEP procurement or material coordination. Strong knowledge of MEP materials and systems (HVAC, electrical panels, plumbing fittings, etc.). Familiarity with procurement software and Microsoft Office. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred:

Prior experience in construction or contracting companies in the UAE/GCC. Knowledge of local and international MEP suppliers.
