We are seeking a highly skilled

Electrical MEP Coordinator

to join our team at [Insert Company Name]. As an Electrical MEP Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the electrical aspects of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems across various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of electrical systems and project coordination, ensuring that electrical installations meet project requirements, safety standards, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate the electrical MEP activities across all stages of construction projects, ensuring timely completion. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure electrical systems are designed and installed according to project specifications. Review and interpret electrical drawings, technical specifications, and contract documents to ensure compliance. Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, including lighting, power, and low-voltage systems. Ensure adherence to local and international electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor electrical work progress, quality, and resolve any technical issues. Coordinate with the procurement team to manage the timely delivery of electrical materials and equipment. Liaise with the design and engineering teams to ensure that electrical designs align with the overall project requirements. Supervise and ensure that electrical work is conducted according to safety standards and regulations. Prepare reports on electrical works, including progress, challenges, and solutions. Track and manage project timelines, ensuring electrical components are installed on schedule and any delays are promptly addressed. Participate in the closeout process, ensuring all electrical work is documented and complies with quality standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP coordination, with at least 3 years focused on electrical systems within the construction industry. Solid understanding of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting systems, and low-voltage systems. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, technical specifications, and contract documents. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address technical challenges effectively. Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams. Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks efficiently. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
