We are looking for an experienced

Mechanical MEP Coordinator

to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical aspects of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems for various construction projects. This role requires coordination between different teams, ensuring project timelines are met, and ensuring the mechanical systems are installed to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate the mechanical MEP activities across all stages of construction projects. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure all mechanical works are completed according to the project specifications and schedule. Review and understand technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure compliance. Supervise the installation and commissioning of mechanical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and other mechanical systems. Ensure compliance with local building codes, standards, and regulations. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and resolve any issues or concerns. Manage and coordinate mechanical materials and equipment procurement and delivery. Liaise with the design team to ensure mechanical designs meet project requirements. Ensure safety regulations are adhered to on-site and that risks are mitigated. Track and report on project progress, delays, and potential issues to senior management. Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation for project closeout. Manage the quality control and testing of installed mechanical systems.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP coordination, with at least 3 years in a mechanical coordination role within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and other mechanical installations. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, technical specifications, and contract documents. Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Strong leadership abilities to manage multidisciplinary teams. Ability to identify and solve technical and logistical problems. Familiarity with local building codes and regulations. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to deliver high-quality work under pressure.
