Job Title: MEP Coordinator
Location: Dubai, UAE
Experience Required: 8-10 years (UAE/GCC experience mandatory)

Reporting To: MEP Manager / Project Manager
About the Role
We are looking for a competent and experienced MEP Coordinator to manage, coordinate, and ensure timely execution of all MEP services across high-rise building projects. The role demands strong technical acumen in HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and electrical systems, as well as proactive coordination between site, consultants, subcontractors, and main works.
Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate all MEP installations on site to align with civil/structural works and the project schedule.
• Review MEP drawings, specifications, and BOQs to ensure accuracy and alignment with client requirements.
• Detect and resolve clashes between MEP and other trades (civil, architectural, structural).
• Ensure timely submission, review, and approval of shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors to ensure adherence to approved plans and specifications.
• Monitor MEP work progress and report issues or delays to the MEP Manager/Project Manager.
• Ensure full compliance with Dubai Municipality, DEWA, Civil Defence, and other relevant authority regulations.
• Attend technical meetings and progress reviews with consultants and project stakeholders.
• Coordinate inspections and authority approvals for MEP services.

• Strong knowledge of MEP systems design and execution in high-rise buildings.
• Experience in clash detection and resolution across trades.
• Good understanding of local authority standards and approval procedures.
• Skilled in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and MS Office tools.
• Effective communication, leadership, and technical coordination abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple site activities under pressure and tight timelines.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in MEP coordination, preferably in the UAE on high-rise buildings.
• Knowledge of authority submission processes (DM, DEWA, DCD) is essential.
• Society of Engineers - UAE membership is preferred.
