About the Role

We are looking for a competent and experienced

MEP Coordinator

to manage, coordinate, and ensure timely execution of all MEP services across high-rise building projects. The role demands strong technical acumen in HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and electrical systems, as well as proactive coordination between site, consultants, subcontractors, and main works.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate all MEP installations on site to align with civil/structural works and the project schedule. Review MEP drawings, specifications, and BOQs to ensure accuracy and alignment with client requirements. Detect and resolve clashes between MEP and other trades (civil, architectural, structural). Ensure timely submission, review, and approval of shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements. Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors to ensure adherence to approved plans and specifications. Monitor MEP work progress and report issues or delays to the MEP Manager/Project Manager. Ensure full compliance with Dubai Municipality, DEWA, Civil Defence, and other relevant authority regulations. Attend technical meetings and progress reviews with consultants and project stakeholders. Coordinate inspections and authority approvals for MEP services.

Skills & Competencies Required

Strong knowledge of MEP systems design and execution in high-rise buildings. Experience in clash detection and resolution across trades. Good understanding of local authority standards and approval procedures. Skilled in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and MS Office tools. Effective communication, leadership, and technical coordination abilities. Ability to handle multiple site activities under pressure and tight timelines.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering. Minimum 8-10 years of experience in MEP coordination, preferably in the UAE on high-rise buildings. Knowledge of authority submission processes (DM, DEWA, DCD) is essential. Society of Engineers - UAE membership is preferred.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
