Job Title: MEP Coordinator

Location: Silicon Oasis, Dubai, UAE

We are seeking a skilled and proactive MEP Coordinator to oversee and manage all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing activities on-site. The ideal candidate will ensure that all MEP works are executed in line with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, while maintaining seamless coordination between internal teams, consultants, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and supervise all on-site Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities to ensure efficient project execution. Review MEP designs and drawings to verify alignment with project specifications, site conditions, and client requirements. Collaborate closely with architects, consultants, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical conflicts and ensure smooth project workflows. Monitor and inspect MEP installations, ensuring all work complies with approved designs, quality standards, and safety regulations. Review drawings, specifications, and construction schedules to proactively identify and mitigate design conflicts or installation issues. Conduct regular site inspections to track project progress and verify adherence to design specifications, reporting and addressing any deviations promptly. Ensure strict compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards during all phases of MEP execution. Supervise subcontractor activities to ensure timely, high-quality work that meets project milestones. Participate in inspection processes and assist in the preparation and coordination of project handover documentation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field). Proven experience in a similar role within the UAE construction industry. Strong understanding of MEP systems, installation standards, and local regulations. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with construction management software, AutoCAD, and project scheduling tools is a plus.
