Position: MEP Co-ordinator

Location: Al Ain, UAE

Job Responsibilities

- Manage and lead MEP subcontractors from contract award through project till close out.

- Ensure that all statutory authority NOC's / permits / design approvals are available on site for construction and ensure that their requirements are adequately and satisfactorily incorporated

Fluency and familiarity of all contract documents.

Review and follow-up all submissions such as builders drawings, shop drawings, submittals, materials, and their compliance, method of statement...etc till getting approval with consultant.

Coordinate onsite MEP activities, materials procurement, and other related activities with Project Manager and Field Staff.

Attend weekly meetings with owners, architects and subcontractors. Chair additional meetings with the MEP subcontractors as necessary.

Review all pay requests from MEP subcontractors and ensure that they are proper and timely.

Oversees the MEP Testing & Commissioning procedure and prepare the closeout documents and submit to consultant/client.

Ensure and follow up all required authorities process to deliver the project to client successfully.

Oversee and direct the owner training program.

Keep up positive working connections with owners, engineers, architects, vendors, and subcontractors.

Bachelors of Electrical / Mechanical Engineering with 8-10 years experience in Construction Field
