We are seeking a highly organized and technically proficient

MEP Coordinator

to manage and oversee the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) aspects of our construction projects. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between design teams, contractors, consultants, and internal departments to ensure seamless coordination, compliance, and timely execution of all MEP systems.

As an MEP Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring that building services are integrated smoothly into the overall construction, with a strong emphasis on quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage

MEP design, installation, and commissioning

activities across multiple projects. Review and interpret

MEP drawings, technical specifications, and project documentation

to ensure accuracy and compliance. Facilitate collaboration between

architectural, structural, and MEP teams

to avoid clashes and ensure proper integration. Conduct

MEP coordination meetings

, resolve technical conflicts, and issue clear directives to subcontractors. Oversee and support the

BIM coordination process

, ensuring 3D models are aligned across disciplines. Monitor

project schedules

, progress, and deliverables for all MEP-related tasks. Ensure compliance with

local codes, safety standards, and quality control procedures

. Review and manage

submittals, RFIs, method statements, shop drawings

, and as-built documentation. Support

site teams during installation, testing, and commissioning

phases of MEP systems. Coordinate with procurement teams for timely

delivery of materials and equipment

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in

Mechanical, Electrical Engineering

, or a related field.

5+ years of experience

in MEP coordination in construction or building services. Strong understanding of

HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical systems

. Proficient in

AutoCAD, Revit (MEP), Navisworks

, and other coordination tools. Experience in

clash detection and resolution

using BIM tools. Knowledge of relevant

building codes and standards

(ASHRAE, NFPA, NEC, IPC, etc.). Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Attributes

Experience in

large-scale commercial or residential projects

. Familiarity with

green building standards

(LEED, Estidama, etc.). Ability to work in fast-paced environments and deliver under tight deadlines. PMP certification or similar project management credentials (optional but preferred).
