Fresher MEP Coordinator

to support our projects involving

Fire Fighting

and

Fire Alarm systems

. This role is ideal for a recent engineering graduate who is interested in starting a career in fire protection, safety systems, and MEP coordination. You will work alongside experienced engineers and gain hands-on experience in designing, coordinating, and executing life safety systems across various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in reviewing and understanding project drawings, schematics, and specifications related to fire fighting and fire alarm systems. Coordinate the installation of fire protection and alarm systems with other MEP and civil works on-site. Support on-site supervision, ensuring compliance with approved plans, safety regulations, and installation standards. Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors for procurement and installation of fire pumps, sprinklers, detectors, control panels, and other components. Attend project and coordination meetings and assist in preparing meeting minutes and follow-up action items. Help in documentation, including test reports, inspection logs, as-built drawings, and compliance forms. Learn and apply relevant codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, Civil Defense Regulations, BS/EN Standards). Report daily progress and escalate technical issues to senior engineers for resolution.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Fire & Safety Engineering. Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of related experience are encouraged to apply. Basic understanding of Fire Fighting (sprinkler, hydrant, pump room, etc.) and Fire Alarm systems (smoke detectors, panels, wiring, etc.) is a plus. Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Office, and basic project documentation. Good communication, interpersonal skills, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work on construction sites and travel to different project locations if required.
