The Role

Our Tier 1 MEP Contracting client has a new requirement for a number of experienced MEP BIM Modelers to join their team in Dubai at prestigious new project in the Emirates. Successful candidates will have a proven background as MEP BIM Modeler on major 5Hospitality and High Rise projects in the UAE and have worked in the capacity of BIM Modeler for a Main Contracting company. This role is available for immediate joining and is an initial 6 Month Contract as an outsource employed by J10 Consulting. Key Responsibilities: o Create BIM Model (MEP & HVAC model) up to LOD 450 and do clash detection for coordination. o Prepare MEP Building Services Layouts. o Coordinates with the Engineer in preparation of design drawings and details for construction. o Check drawings for discrepancies and errors and do corrections necessary for the project. o Provides spot detail / Shop drawings for the clarity of the plans and details. o Responsible for MEP drawing coordination with Architectural o Create Architectural and structural 3D Model based on 2D drawings and do clash detection for coordination. o Coordinates with the Architect ( architectural model input ) in preparation of design drawings and details for construction. o Create render views and walkthrough videos out of the created models o Able to use engineering sizing tools for pipes , ducts , cables , etc o Making Site visit for the measurement of the Area, for as-built purposes. o Extract BOQs & schedules for all MEP components such as Pipes , cable trays , cables , ducts , valves , duct accessories


Requirements

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical o At least 4 years' relevant BIM modelling / drawing o Ability to work using modeling software's such as ( Revit , AutoCAD , Plant 3D ) o Ability to use clash detection software's such as Navisworks o Have strong engineering background in both mechanical and electrical field o Project Experience in GCC countries o BIM fundamentals, principles & workflows
