Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, update, and manage detailed 3D models of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems using Revit and other BIM tools.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and other trade models to identify and resolve design clashes.
• Interpret MEP drawings, specifications, and design documents to accurately model systems.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and implement required updates and revisions.
• Prepare shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built models as per project requirements.
• Maintain model accuracy, quality, and data integrity throughout all project stages.
• Collaborate with engineers, BIM coordinators, and project managers to ensure design intent and project standards are met.
• Manage and organize project documentation following company BIM standards.
• Support the creation and maintenance of BIM families and content libraries as needed.

Key Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an MEP BIM Modeler within the construction industry.
• Proven proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, and BIM collaboration platforms such as BIM 360.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, components, and coordination processes in building and infrastructure projects.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Candidates must be currently based in the UAE, available to start immediately, and willing to work onsite in Abu Dhabi.
