Position Title: Medical Affairs Operation Excellence Manager Location: Dubai Duration: 1 year Industry: Medical/Pharmaceutical Medical Affairs Operation Excellence Manager This Is What You Will Do The Medical Affairs Business Operations Manager is responsible for client interaction, the execution and management of complex initiatives within the Medical Affairs organization and their designated Therapeutic Area or Functions. The individual will also need to multitask across many initiatives while delivering on core projects both locally and internationally. This role reports into the Head of Medical Department. You Will Be Responsible For Ensuring effective and efficient delivery of the key MA Business Operations Activities: Finance & Accruals, Contracting, HCP engagement, and Performance Management Key partner in ensuring tactical plans is in alignment with corporate business goals and managed proactively Providing operational leadership in the development of Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews for the TA/functions Effectively communicating with Medical Affairs Leadership and team members on updates to their plans, and to provide insight and direction into management interventions when needed or advised Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement with both internal processes and how external vendors are used/engaged execute and operationalize improvements efficiently and effectively Managing multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously, and make sure all deliverables are done within agreed upon timeframes Maintaining high level network of contacts within the organization Identifying potential risks and develop mitigation plans Leading high-level, cross-functional teams across international locations Developing Project Management methodology and policies and implement in various locations Vendor Management: selection, briefing, and oversight Leading the ongoing reporting cadence against Medical Affairs goals and objectives for the TA/functions, coordinating these updates through the use of tools, processes, procedures and calendars to ensure optimal management awareness of all current statuses to the most important priorities of the TA/functions You Will Need to Have Bachelor's degree required +5 years of Project management and digital transformation experience Demonstrated ability to implement projects of strategic importance Experience/ability to work in a matrix cross-functional environment, both onsite and remotely Strong business acumen, analysis, problem solving, and leadership skills, and proven ability to manage budget, and internal & external resources Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated track record and ability to drive results as an effective a team member and project leader Ability to professionally interact with all levels of the organization Exercises foresight and judgment in making complex decisions. Acts independently with good judgement, when needed. Flexibility, the ability to adapt to changing project scope and direction particularly as projects require strategic thinking and solutions Must demonstrate an energy and enthusiasm which brings a positive approach to all challenges High ethics and integrity standards ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information Ability to travel and work during weekend and vacations across many time zones. We Would Prefer for You to Have Relevant advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred Understanding and adherence to PMI's or similar Project Management methodologies Business process mapping experience preferred Excellent written and verbal skills and strong interpersonal skills Proficiency with Microsoft products, Adobe products, and strong ability to learn other technology quickly Understanding of agile ways of working Demonstrated experience on organizational change and adoption If you are keen and interested to know more about the role.
