Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technologist-Microbiology
Location: Abu Dhabi
Education: BSc or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology
Experience: 2 years minimum in Microbiology
License Required: DOH License
Client: Government Entity
Contract: Outsourcing
Duration: 6 Months
Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform biochemical and chemical analyses on blood, urine, and other body fluids using automated and manual methods.
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain chemistry analyzers and laboratory equipment.
  • Ensure accurate sample handling, labeling, testing, and result validation.
  • Monitor quality control procedures and participate in internal and external quality assurance programs.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and report equipment or test-related issues.
  • Record, review, and release test results in the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
  • Follow laboratory safety, infection control, and waste management protocols.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with ISO, CAP, JCI, or local regulatory standards.
  • Assist in training junior staff and students when required.
  • Communicate critical or abnormal results to authorized clinical staff promptly.
