Key Responsibilities:
Review and analyze medical documentation to assign accurate codes.
Ensure coding compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with clinical staff for clarification of documentation.
Maintain confidentiality and security of patient data.
Keep updated with changes in coding standards and healthcare regulations.
Support billing and revenue cycle processes.
Qualifications & Experience:
Certification in Medical Coding (e.g., CPC, CCS).
Minimum 2 years of experience in medical coding, preferably in a hospital setting.
Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS coding systems.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
