We are looking for an organised and dynamic

Media Engagement Coordinator

- DSG to join the team at ESM. You will play a key role in supporting marketing and social media initiatives -- contributing creative content ideas, capturing on-ground highlights, and showcasing events across DSG platforms to enhance visibility and engagement.

In addition, you will lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of the Dubai Schools Games qualification rounds, ensuring smooth and successful execution from start to finish. The role involves managing all operational and administrative aspects, including liaising with schools, vendors, venues, and technical partners, overseeing logistics, and ensuring events are delivered to the highest standards.

Key Objectives

Support DSG marketing by generating creative content ideas aligned with trending social media formats and ensuring events are captured through live coverage, photography, and video to showcase on DSG's channels. Work with the creative team to brainstorm and implement trending social media content ideas (Reels, TikTok-style edits, stories, highlight clips) to boost engagement during and after DSG events. Provide on-ground social media support, capturing live content (interviews, crowd moments, match highlights, behind-the-scenes action) and coordinating instant posting to DSG channels. Update event documentation and marketing needs, working with ESMcreate and ESMsolutions to request promotional materials and ensure qualification round details are accurately reflected on the Dubai Schools Games website. Research and recommend potential venues, vendors, and technical partners to improve the quality, efficiency, and reach of qualification events. Lead the delivery of all Dubai Schools Games qualification round events, taking full ownership of planning, coordination, and on-the-ground execution while working closely with the Events Manager for overall alignment. Manage administrative processes for qualification rounds, including processing event entries, maintaining accurate records, and handling all communication with schools, venues, vendors, and partners. Oversee on-site event operations during qualification rounds, including setup, registration, event delivery, and set down, ensuring a smooth and seamless participant experience. Coordinate all logistical requirements, including equipment, materials, and supplies, ensuring readiness and timely delivery for every qualification event. Collaborate with the Events Manager and Events Coordinator to ensure qualification rounds integrate seamlessly within the overall DSG calendar, escalating challenges and contributing insights to enhance future events.

Set of Required Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours

Desired Qualifications

Degree in Management, Marketing, Business, or related field

Desired Experience

1-2 years in events and/or a similar role 1-2 years in social media and/or a similar role
