What you'll be doing: Control and supervision of all engineering and maintenance activities within relevant trade law Pt 145 regulations and procedures Scoping and carrying out independent inspections of Mechanical Safety Critical Systems Submission of system related technical enquiries as and when required Ensuring good husbandry practices are implemented Undertaking the responsibilities of Rectification Controller or Line Controller in their absence Providing manpower to assist with flight line activities when required Assessing and authorising RAFO and BAE Systems technicians on the safe use of ground equipment Supervising and assisting external contractors or BAE systems external employees, such as Rolls Royce, Leonardo and Aircraft wash teams Providing on-the-job training aligned to the role training specification to RAFO candidate, including Mentoring of RAFO Personnel on a one to one basis Compiling evidence for subordinates to develop and complete on the job training; completing logbooks and evaluating tasks carried out by RAFO candidates in order to achieve 1st and 2nd signature

Your skills and experiences: Essential: Typhoon fast jet Q course and experience Experience of working within a similar level position on Mechanical Systems and trade on military aircraft either within a civilian or military role Demonstrable experience in an aeronautical engineering discipline/ aerospace environment (must be dual trade Airframe and Engine) Understanding of the Engineering Support System (ESS) aircraft documentation system Experience of supervising maintenance activities ideally within a Pt 145 regulatory Desirable: Experience working in the Middle East Experience of working within an EASA Part 145 environment Engine ground running experience

Our Air Business: As a Mechanical Senior Supervisor, you will control and supervise assigned personnel and resources within the Mechanical trade at Forward Maintenance and provide consolidation training to assigned Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) personnel in support of Line and Base maintenance activities for Typhoon operations This role will give you the opportunity to work alongside fast jets, whilst working very closely with a military customer on-base.
