Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute installation, maintenance, repair, testing, and predictive and preventive maintenance for rotating and static equipment
• Plan, schedule, execute, and monitor mechanical maintenance activities to ensure safe, timely, and reliable job completion
• Ensure availability of manpower, tools, equipment, and materials required for mechanical maintenance execution
• Inspect work progress, verify final completion, and prepare reports to ensure quality and schedule compliance
• Provide technical support, prepare scopes of work, support contracts, cost reporting, and participate in negotiations for equipment repairs
• Maintain and update refurbished equipment databases, history records, and accessories for effective asset management
• Supervise testing and commissioning of new or modified equipment, ensuring compliance with approved methods and safety procedures
• Participate in planning, scheduling, and execution of shutdowns and major overhaul maintenance activities
• Conduct and participate in daily and weekly safety toolbox talks to reinforce safe work practices
• Monitor availability of spare parts, tools, and materials to support scheduled maintenance jobs
• Prepare spare parts lists, tools, and material requisitions and verify specifications of received direct charge and stock materials
• Coordinate transportation of materials to site and liaise with workshop supervisors for use of heavy equipment and rigging services
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC HSE Management System, UAE regulations, and applicable international standards

Ideal Profile

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
• Minimum of 5 years of experience supervising mechanical maintenance activities in a large industrial organization
• Prior experience in oil and gas or heavy industrial environments is preferred
• Strong knowledge of rotating and static equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and overhaul planning

Skills Set

• Solid understanding of preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance strategies
• Ability to supervise teams, contractors, and multi-disciplinary maintenance activities
• Strong planning, reporting, and coordination skills
• High awareness of HSE practices, emergency response procedures, and sustainability requirements
