Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced

Mechanical/HVAC Engineer

to join our facilities management team. The ideal candidate must hold a

degree in Mechanical or HVAC Engineering

with a valid

UPDA Grade A or B certification

and possess a minimum of

5 years of relevant maintenance experience

in a compatible facility. The role requires strong technical expertise in HVAC systems, preventive and corrective maintenance, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise, plan, and execute maintenance activities for HVAC and mechanical systems. Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance schedules are implemented effectively. Conduct troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and root cause analysis for system failures. Monitor and control maintenance costs, ensuring efficient use of resources. Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations. Prepare technical reports and documentation related to HVAC/mechanical operations. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure quality service delivery. Support energy efficiency initiatives and recommend system improvements.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in

Mechanical/HVAC Engineering

UPDA Grade A or B certification

is mandatory. Minimum of

5 years' relevant maintenance experience

in HVAC/mechanical systems. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems design, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Proficiency in maintenance management software and MS Office. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience in GCC region, especially in facilities management.
