ASnapshot of Your Day You will be activelyworking to lead the mechanical engineering team, manage and develop the membersof the team, and work with the rest of the department to collaboratively executeFields of Action (FoA) co-creation projects to supportdeveloping a competitive portfolio and lead the energy transition.
How You\xe2\x80\x99ll Make An Impact
- Set up and lead the SE I ICA TD Mechanical Engineering team including work priority, professional development, and process control. Coordinate and align different technical groups and virtual teams within a multi-cultural environment.
- Carry out FoA R&D projects in collaboration with internal and external stakeholder.
- Oversee mechanical engineering activities around the FoA R&Dprojects.
- Provide technical leadership to team, ensuringquality of work.
- Foster a collaborative work ethic within the team and the ICA.
- Effectively communicate with multiple functional groups (Business Areas, Global Innovation Centers, Customers).
What You Bring
- University degree in mechanical engineering or similar field (Master/Diploma) or comparable qualification.
- 10+years of work experience in the field of mechanical engineering or related.
- Knowledge of aerodynamics, thermodynamics /heat transfer, rotor dynamics, materials.
- Experience of co-creation with customers or similar.
- Prior leadership experience is a plus.
- Focused on doing what\xe2\x80\x99s right for the company and the Innovation Center, high energy, and contagious enthusiasm, willing to take on the tough projects and challenges to support the growth of the ICA.
- Driver for quick results and follow through across teams.
- Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple high priority projects simultaneously and successfully.
- Ability to lead a team, allocate resources, communicate optimally across departments and within the team, and meet project deliverables.
- Very good English language skills.
