For an Engineering Consultation Office, we are seeking an experienced
Mechanical Engineer (MEP)
to oversee mechanical works for aG+15 high-rise tower
during its construction phase. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper design, installation, and commissioning of mechanical systems, includingchillers, gas piping, elevators (passenger & car), and plumbing systems
.Key Responsibilities:
Review and approve mechanical design drawings, specifications, and materials. Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems. Ensure compliance with local building codes, industry standards, and project requirements. Coordinate with electrical, structural, and architectural teams for seamless integration. Conduct site inspections and monitor contractors' work for quality and adherence to safety and quality regulations.
Address technical issues, provide solutions, and respond to RFIs.
Review and approve method statements and material submittals. Prepare and maintain documentation, reports, and progress updates.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum
8 years of experience
in high-rise building projects. Strong knowledge ofHVAC, chillers, gas piping, elevators, and plumbing systems
. Familiarity withMEP coordination and relevant software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)
. Experience in testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting mechanical systems. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Must have knowledge of Abu Dhabi government requirements, Abu Dhabi Distribution Company (TAQA Distribution), and other relevant departments.
