Job Summary:

We are currently looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team for prestigious high-rise building projects across Dubai. Candidates with DCD (Dubai Civil Defense) approval will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the design, installation, and supervision of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting Coordinate DCD submissions and approvals, attend inspections, and ensure compliance with DCD and local regulations Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements Monitor site execution and ensure timely completion in line with project requirements Coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors for project integration Conduct testing and commissioning of all mechanical systems Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, and Dubai Municipality codes Provide technical support and resolve issues during project lifecycle Prepare progress reports and attend coordination meetings

Candidate Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering 7+ years of UAE experience, preferably in high-rise buildings Experience with HVAC, fire fighting, and plumbing systems Knowledge of local authority regulations (DCD, DM, DEWA, etc.) DCD Approval - preferred (or previous DCD coordination experience) Strong command of AutoCAD, HAP, Duct Sizer, and MS Office Excellent communication and site management skills Able to lead a team of site engineers and supervisors
