Job Description

Our client, a reputable facilities management service provider, is currently seeking an experienced

Mechanical Engineer with strong Facilities Management (FM) expertise

for a health center project across three locations: Al Ruwais, Al Khor, and Doha.

The selected candidate will be required to cover all three sites; therefore, a

valid driving license and own vehicle is mandatory.

This is a

short-term contract

with the possibility of extension. Candidates who are

available to join immediately

will be highly preferred.

Al Ruwais, Al Khor, and Doha, Qatar

Employment Type:

Contract - 1 Month (Extendable based on performance and project requirements)

Gross Salary:

QAR 7,750 (inclusive of QAR 7,000 covering Basic Salary and Food Allowance, plus QAR 750 as Transportation Allowance)

Working Hours:

8 hours/day + 1-hour break

Working Days:

6 days/week

Key Responsibilities

Manage and supervise daily

mechanical maintenance activities

within health center facilities Conduct regular site inspections to ensure mechanical systems are operating efficiently and in compliance with safety and hygiene standards Oversee HVAC systems, plumbing, pumps, fire-fighting systems, and other mechanical services Coordinate with facility teams, contractors, and service providers to ensure uninterrupted healthcare operations Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical issues affecting building services Maintain accurate logs, inspection checklists, and prepare daily and weekly maintenance reports Ensure all works comply with

QHSE standards

and healthcare facility regulations Provide hands-on technical support and guidance to maintenance technicians Ensure timely response to critical and emergency maintenance requirements
Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in

Mechanical Engineering

Minimum

5 years of experience

in Facilities Management Strong knowledge of mechanical building systems and preventive/corrective maintenance Proficiency in technical reporting and MS Office applications Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills

Valid Qatari Driving License

(own vehicle preferred) Immediate availability is a strong advantage
