Our client, a reputable facilities management service provider, is currently looking to hire a Mechanical / Civil Engineer with strong Facilities Management (FM) experience for a health center project located in Al Wajbah & Muaither - Qatar. This is a short-term contract with the possibility of extension, and candidates available to join immediately are highly preferred.

Job Title: Mechanical / Civil Engineer (Facilities Management) - Health Center Project

Location: Al Wajbah & Muaither - Qatar

Employment Type: Contract - 1 Month (extendable based on performance and project requirements)

Salary: QAR 6,500 (all-inclusive full package)

Working Hours: 8 hours/day + 1-hour break

Working Days: 6 days/week

Role Overview:

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing daily FM operations at designated health centers. This includes supervising maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and coordinating with site teams and external vendors. The role requires a hands-on engineer who can work independently and respond swiftly to site requirements while maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise daily mechanical or civil maintenance activities within the health center premises Perform regular site inspections to ensure systems are operating efficiently and in compliance with safety and hygiene standards Coordinate with facility teams, contractors, and service providers to support uninterrupted healthcare operations Promptly identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues affecting building services and infrastructure Maintain accurate logs, inspection checklists, and prepare detailed daily and weekly reports on maintenance tasks and site conditions Ensure all work adheres to Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) standards in line with healthcare facility regulations Support maintenance technicians with hands-on technical guidance, ensuring timely response to critical maintenance requests

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Facilities Management In-depth knowledge of building systems, preventive and corrective maintenance Strong skills in technical reporting and proficiency in MS Office tools Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills Valid Qatari Driving License and own vehicle (preferred) Immediate availability is a strong advantage
