Position Summary



We are currently seeking an experienced and

detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer - Building Services to join our

dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in the

design and implementation of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems

for mid to high-rise developments. This is a pivotal role that demands a

strong grasp of technical design principles, MEP coordination, and regulatory

compliance, with particular attention to Dubai Municipality standards

and Green Building Regulations.



Key Responsibilities



Design and develop mechanical systems for building services,

including:

Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC)

Plumbing systems

Firefighting and suppression systems



Conduct load calculations, perform equipment sizing,

and prepare comprehensive technical specifications

Prepare and coordinate mechanical layouts with MEP teams,

architects, and structural engineers to ensure fully integrated building

designs

Ensure all mechanical system designs comply with:

Dubai Municipality regulations

Dubai Green Building Regulations

ASHRAE and local UAE codes



Review mechanical design documents, submittals, and shop drawings

for accuracy and adherence to project requirements

Provide technical support during construction, including:

Participation in site inspections

Resolution of technical issues during project execution

Support in testing and commissioning stages



Qualifications &

Requirements



Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a

recognized university

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in building

services within the UAE or GCC region

Demonstrated experience in HVAC load calculations, plumbing

layouts, and fire protection design

Up-to-date knowledge of ASHRAE standards, DM codes,

and UAE mechanical regulations

Must have passed or be in the process of completing the Dubai

Municipality registration exam

Proficient in AutoCAD and HVAC design tools (e.g.,

HAP, Elite, or similar); familiarity with Revit MEP is a plus

Strong coordination and communication skills; ability to work in

multidisciplinary teams and deliver within deadlines
